The specific information collected will depend on the technologies we use and your consent choices.

- Respond to enquiries and requests
- Provide information about Babav and its services
- Arrange demonstrations or conversations
- Communicate with prospective customers, partners and other contacts
- Operate, maintain and improve our website
- Understand how people use our website

Our lawful bases
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on one or more lawful bases for processing personal information, depending on the circumstances. These may include:
Consent
Where you have given us permission to process your information for a specific purpose.
Contract
Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you.
Legitimate interests
Where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests and those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Legal obligation
Where processing is necessary for us to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
Analytics and marketing
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how people use our website — which pages are read, and where visitors lose their way. It is configured so that no measurement takes place and no analytics cookie is set unless you allow it, and Google’s script is not loaded at all until then. IP addresses are anonymised.
We also use PostHog, provided by PostHog Inc. and hosted in the European Union, to understand how visitors move through the website. Like Google Analytics, it runs only if you allow analytics: until then its script is not loaded and nothing is recorded.
We do not currently use any marketing or advertising technologies. If that changes, we will say so here and ask for your consent before any are activated.
Non-essential tracking technologies will be used in accordance with our cookie consent mechanism and applicable law. Where consent is required, we will ask for it before activating the relevant technology.
You can change your preferences at any time through Cookie Settings.
International transfers
Because Babav Technologies, Inc. is based in the United States and because we may use service providers located in different countries, personal information may be transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area.
Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate safeguards, which may include adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
Retention periods will depend on the nature of the information and why we hold it.
Where appropriate, we will periodically review information we hold and securely delete or anonymise information that is no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live and which data protection laws apply, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including:
- The right to access your personal information
- The right to request correction of inaccurate information
- The right to request deletion of your information in certain circumstances
- The right to restrict processing in certain circumstances
- The right to object to certain processing
- The right to data portability in certain circumstances
- The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority. If you are in the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing them with personal information.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, technology, legal requirements or how we process personal information.
We will publish the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
